This hard-hitting portrait of cutthroat office politics represents CCftA's first foray into the world of David Mamet, who is at the absolute zenith of his career with this winner of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play follows the lives of four unethical Chicago real estate agents who are prepared to go to any lengths (legal or illegal) to unload undesirable real estate on unwilling prospective buyers. They utilize every tool at their disposal from charm to dishonesty to thug-like intimidation. It's a world of hyper-masculinity where being the top-dog means everything. Glengarry Glen Ross is considered one of the theater's master works from the latter part of the 20th Century. This play contains very strong language.Date: January 4, 2011
