The Alexander Children's Theatre School (ACTS), in residence at the newly renovated Umbrella Community Arts Center (40 Stow Street, Concord, MA), is pleased to announce their 2014-2015 season: GODSPELL(December 12-14, 2014) and THE ADDAMS FAMILY: THE MUSICAL (May 29-31, 2015).

Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Pocahontas) and John Michael Tebelak comes GODSPELL, a timeless look at the life of Jesus Christ through a variety of games, storytelling techniques, and hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs ranging in style from pop to vaudeville is employed as a story of kindness, tolerance, and love comes vibrantly to life. Schwartz's beloved score includes "Day By Day," "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All For The Best," "All Good Gifts," and "By My Side." The production features direction by Paul Kmiec, choreography by Jackie Theoharis, and music direction by Qingyang (Tom) Xi; the musical is produced by Stephanie C. Mavrides in association with
James Forbes Sheehan. PERFORMANCES are Friday, December 12 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, December 13 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday, December 14 at 4:00 pm.

America's favorite creepy and kooky family comes to life in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, the magnificently macabre new musical comedy, featuring a book by
Marshall Brickman and
Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) and a score by
Andrew Lippa(The Wild Party, Big Fish). Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love with a young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother - forcing Gomez to keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents. The production will be directed byRyan MacPherson, with choreography by Jackie Theoharis; the musical is produced by Stephanie C. Mavrides in association with
James Forbes Sheehan. PERFORMANCES are Friday, May 29 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, May 30 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday, May 31 at 4:00 pm. AUDITIONS for students in grades 8-12 will be in mid-January.
Tickets range from $15 to $20 and are available online (www.ACTS1.org) or by calling the ACTS Box Office (781-899-4467). Group rates are available for parties of 10+. Performances will be held at the Umbrella Community Arts Center (40 Stow Street, Concord, MA).
