Recently seen in New Rep's play reading series, New Voices @ New Rep, A House With No Walls, Thomas Gibbons' daring new play, will be given full production as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere.  New Rep's production plays through November 18, 2007.

"A House With No Walls is based on the real life of Ona Judge, a former slave of George Washington, who tries to find the courage to escape from bondage.  Almost 200 years later, the American Museum of Liberty is constructed on the site of the slave quarters where she once lived.  Her story is paired with the modern-day conflict that springs between two strong-willed African-Americans with opposing viewpoints about the museum's construction.  Underscored with the true account of Ona's journey to freedom, A House With No Walls challenges the integrity of our American liberty and re-evaluates our history, forcing audiences of all colors to question the legacy we are proud of and to reckon with a people still struggling to find liberty and justice for all," explain press notes.

Performances run through Sunday, November 18. For complete show times visit www.newrep.org

Tickets are $35-$55. Seniors $7 off full price tickets. Students $10. Call 617-923-8487, or buy online at www.newrep.org.
