2nd Story Theatre Announces 07/08 Season

Ed Shea announced the 2007 – 2008 line-up for 2nd Story Theatre in Warren, RI.  The season is as follows:

Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde
by Moises Kaufman
September 28 - October 28, 2007
From celebrated playwright to broken recluse, this all male cast portrays Moises Kaufman's spellbinding portrait of a brilliant and complicated man.  Gross Indecency will be performed in the historic courtroom at the Bristol Statehouse, which is handicap accessible.

The Butterfingers Angel, Mary & Joseph, Herod the Nut & The Slaughter of 12 Hit Carols in a Pear Tree, A Christmas Entertainment

November 16 - December 16, 2007
William Gibson's reverent, irreverent humanized version of the Christmas story filled with love, sacrifice, laughter and the true meaning of the season.

Red Scare on Sunset
by Charles Busch
January 25- February 24, 2008
Charles Busch's 1991 take on an outrageous right-wing nightmare.  19th century boulevard humor meets 1950's Hollywood.

Orpheus Descending
by Tennessee Williams
March 21 - April 20, 2008
The 1957 Tennessee Williams gem of a wild-spirited boy who wanders into a conventional Southern town.

Fuddy Meers
by David Lindsay-Abaire
May 9 - June 8, 2008
Everything is not what it seems in David Lindsay-Abaire's 1999 genius Durang-ish comedy.
