Concord Theatricals Recordings has just announced the forthcoming release of Sondheim In The City, a new album by Tony Award®-nominated actress, singer and author Melissa Errico. The album will release on CD, streaming and digital platforms on February 16, 2024.

Broadway couple Patti Murin and Colin Donnell will be releasing their first joint album! Titled Something Stupid afer the 1967 Carson and Gaile song, the album will be released on November 18.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS will release a special vinyl edition of Eleri Ward album A Perfect Little Death on Friday, June 17. It’s currently available for pre-order. She will celebrate the release with a special sold-out concert at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street) in New York on June 7, which follows two sold-out shows earlier this year.

A Perfect Little Death, which was released in streaming and digital formats earlier this year, is an expansive folk reinvention of the one-of-a-kind Stephen Sondheim canon, rendered with ethereal, melancholic guitar arrangements.

SUF/SOND puts a new spin on classic Sondheim tunes, giving them the soft indie-folk treatment. It’s a creative and often intriguing exercise that gives a new perspective on these iconic tunes, although it’s not flawless across the board.
