MOMIX: BOTANICA Returns to Morrison Center on 11/14; Tickets On Sale Today

MOMIX: BOTANICA will return to the Velma V. Morrison Ceter for the Performing Srts on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 7:30 PM. Tickets start at $29.50, and are on sale today, July 12.

MOMIX is a company of dancer-illusionists known internationally for presenting workof exceptional inventiveness and physical beauty. For 30 years MOMIX has been celebrated for its ability to conjure up a world of surrealistic images using props, light, shadow, humor and the human body. Under the direction of founder [Momix Botanica Preview] Moses Pendleton (also founding member of Pilobolus), MOMIX has performedthroughout the United States and around the world. With performances on PBS's "Dance in America" and international television, the company's repertory has been broadcast in 55 countries.

Located on the campus of Boise State University, the 2,037-seat Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts is Idaho's premier performing arts center. Nestled on the banks of the Boise River, with a panoramic view of the city, parks and foothills, the Center's 10-story stage house is a recognizable fixture of the Capitol's picturesque skyline. The realization of a life-long dream of Harry W. Morrison, and championed by his widow, Velma, the Center opened its doors on April 7, 1984.
