John Tesh to Play at Civic Auditorium, 4/9

The Idaho Falls Arts Council presents John Tesh: Live in Concert on Friday April 9th at 8:00pm at the Civic Auditorium. Tickets are $34 and $39 and can be purchased by calling 552-0471.

John Tesh may be best known to millions of basketball fans as the composer of the hit NBA theme song "Roundball Rock", but he has long been a respected figure in the entertainment and broadcasting industries. For 10 years Tesh was co-host of "Entertainment Tonight", and has received 6 Emmy's, 3 Gold Albums, 2 Grammy Nominations, 3 Hit PBS Specials, 2 tours as an Olympic announcer/ composer and several number one hits. He is also one of the most successful syndicated radio show hosts in the country, "The John Tesh Radio Show: Music and Intelligence for Your Life".

Tesh lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Connie Sellecca, and his daughter Prima. His son, Gib, is also a key member of the TeshMedia Group team and is featured in Tesh's live concerts. For more information on "everything Tesh," please visit Tesh.com.

The IFAC is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1990. Our mission is to present quality visual and performing arts, offer arts education and promote arts organizations and events in our region. We own and operate the Willard Arts Center which includes the Colonial Theater. A seventeen member Board of Directors representing a cross section of the community governs the organization. The Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported by donations, grants,
and ticket income.
