The Idaho Falls Arts Council has released a schedule of events for the upcoming months including the Eastern Idaho Wine Festival & Microbrews, a performance by the Snake River All-Stars, the Cultural District Art Walk, the return of Late Night Catechism, the Grammy award-winning band, Riders in the Sky, and the continuation of their Carr Gallery Exhibit.

 

Eastern Idaho Wine Festival & Microbrews 

Friday, April 23, 5-9:00 pm. 

Tickets $22/in advance & $25/at the door

$5/designated driver

Spring is in the air and so is the tantalizing aroma of wine; reds, whites, champagnes and other great "vino's" and new this year, the debut of microbrews at Eastern Idaho's largest wine and microbrew festival. Sample from over 400 wines and microbrews from around the world. Other Festival activities include a door prize, raffle, and silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Idaho Falls Arts Council.

Rocking the Colonial Theater for three years in a row, The All Stars feature a combination of first class musicians and seasoned concert production professionals with state-of-the-art video, lighting and sound to create a feast for the eyes and ears. Classic songs are spun together with "mocumentary" style video segments that tell the tongue-in-cheek story of the Snake Rive All Stars, from their dramatic rise to superstardom, to the inevitable fall from the ranks of rock-and-roll royalty.

'Til Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3

Sister returns to the Colonial Theater in the latest class to be unveiled in the sinfully funny Late Nite Catechism series. After teaching countless students all about the saints, venial sins, guilt, limbo and more. Sister is now offering hilarious lessons on the Sacraments of Marriage and Last Rites, including her own wacky version of The Newlywed Game. Classroom participation is a must so bring along your sweetie and your sense of humor for a session with the country's feistiest couples counselor!
