Boise Contemporary Theater has announced its 17|18 Season today, Wednesday, April 19, to coincide with the first preview of The Clean House, the final play in the record-breaking BCT 16|17 Season.

What does a theater do after its best season ever? Stage an even better one. The BCT 17|18 Season lineup includes the most exciting and dynamic array of shows in the theater's history.

BCT Founding Artistic Director Matthew Cameron Clark says, "We are thrilled to announce the 17|18 Season at BCT. We will open with one of the funniest and most twisted shows in Broadway history-who's ready to meet a demonic sock puppet? We will share a boldly theatrical production around the holidays that you can bring your family to see. Right after the New Year, we'll offer a limited-run cabaret written and performed by Hedwig star Adam Enright as a special add-on for our Season Pass holders; and then we'll stage the World Premiere of the winner of the 2017 BCT River Prize! We will close our 22nd Season with a show that's so hot right now that we have to wait a little longer to announce the title while the details of a big New York production are hammered out. 17|18 has 'FUN and EXCITING' written all over it. Join us at the theater to imagine something new."

Here's a look at the BCT 17|18 Season:

The Storm in the Barn

By Eric Coble

Season Add-On:

Good Bitch Goes Down

The shining star of last season's Hedwig and the Angry Inch makes his triumphant and glittery return to the BCT stage with an original show exploding with stories and songs.

World Premiere and Winner of the 2017 BCT River Prize:

House of Tomorrow

By Cat Crowley

February 21 - March 10, 2018

Outfitted with all the modern conveniences, the Jupiters are a model family living inside the home of tomorrow. But even in this Jetsons-like futurescape, a family's secrets can still tarnish the dazzling sheen of chrome and plastic.

Another Exciting Contemporary Play

To Be Announced Soon!

April 11 - 28, 2018

Our final show of the season has been chosen, but it's so sought-after that we aren't permitted to announce it until after its upcoming New York City production has been finalized. Look for details on our season finale once the ink is dry this summer. It's a brilliant script and we can't wait to share it with you.
