North Idaho is partnering with Camp Fire USA and Camp Sweyolakan to bring 2, one-week theater arts camps to kids grades 1-7 and 8-12.

Camp Sweyolakan sits on nearly 300 beautiful wooded acres on the shores of Lake Coeur d' Alene at the mouth of Mica Bay. There is no better place for a camper to enjoy all the great water activities, cooking out over a campfire, archery, other outdoor activities AND learn theater arts from Coeur d'Alene's own, CYT-North Idaho all in one week.

Campers July 16-20 will perform Kids on Broadway for grades 1-7. Campers can register as a day camp or a residential camp. July 30-Aug 1, will be the Teen Camp for campers grades 8-12 and is residential only. The camp theme and performance will be Broadway: Next Generation. Both camps include acting, singing, dancing and specialty workshops as well as team time, competitions, rehearsals, outdoor fun and a performance on the last day. All campers will be cast in the shows and will receive a free CYT tee shirt.

To find out more details about either of the camps or about CYT-North Idaho's other junior theater day camps at Lake City Community Church in Coeur d'Alene, Jul 9-13 or Jul 23-27, please visit the CYT-North Idaho website at: cytnorthidaho.org. You can register online for all camps. The CYT-North Idaho website will link you to the Camp Fire USA website to register for the 2 camps at Camp Sweyolakan.
