Boise, Idaho's Knock 'em Dead Dinner Theatre has announced its 2010-2011 season.

The season will open with BYE BYE BIRDIE, which will run from September 17 to October 30.  BYE BYE BIRDIE is one of the most loved musicals of the stage and centers around Conrad Birdie and the obstacles that occur when his agent, Albert Peterson, along with Albert's love interest and assistant, Rosie Alvarez, stage a publicity stunt to air on The Ed Sullivan Show. The plan is for Conrad to give "One Last Kiss" to a lucky teenage girl before he leaves for the army. What unfolds thereafter is a comedic conclusion that is bound to leave a "happy face" on all in the audience. BYE BYE BIRDIE is the tops in imagination and good old fashioned fun.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL will run from November 19 to December 18.  Charles Dickens' beloved tale has become a holiday classic. When Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his dead business partner, Jacob Marley, his miserly ways slowly begin to change.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS will run from January 21 to February 19.  Set in a small-town beauty parlor in Louisiana, STEEL MAGNOLIAS follows the lives of several women who often meet there.  These women display love, apathy, pain, loss, secrecy and a desperate attempt to live a life of happiness. Their strengths will be sorely tried, their wit stretched thin and their hearts broken.

THE FANTASTICKS will run from March 18 to April 16.  This enchanting and timeless, comedic fable, features two meddling fathers who scheme to get their children together - but once united, the real drama begins! Featuring the beloved "Try to Remember" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain," this is a celebration of love-first love, lost love, and ultimately, true love.

The season will close with THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, which will run from May 13 to June 11.  Everyone loves Bianca, and the suitors are lining up for the chance to convince her - and her father - that they are the one for her. But there's a problem: Bianca can't wed until her strong-willed "shrew" of a sister, Kate, makes a match. The braggart Petruchio claims he can tame her and her tongue with a mixture of talk and defiance as potent as her own. Kate and Petruchio wage a battle of the sexes through witty wordplay and manipulative mind-games. Shakespeare's wild romp is a hilarious mixture of characters, looking for love and along the way discover who they really are.
