Boise Contemporary Theater's new education program, BCT Theater Lab, presents a new play, written and performed by young artists of the Treasure Valley.

BCT Theater Lab students have created a new piece of theater for the stage, a contemporary fable called, YARN. The play addresses the complexities of human relationships, the yearnings that keep us apart, and the ties that bind us together, all set in a world of magical realism where a single thread can lead to wondrous realms and otherworldly creatures. You can see the play on the BCT stage, located at 9th and Fulton in Downtown Boise, November 7, 8, and 9, at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available online www.BCTheater.org or by calling the BCT box office at 331-9224 x. 205. Tickets are $10 per person or $5 for people under 30.

BCT Theater Lab provides students, ages twelve to eighteen, an opportunity to train with professional actors, designers and playwrights, in order to develop skills as artists, collaborators and communicators to tell stories that have never been told.

Founded in 1997, BCT creates, produces, and presents vibrant and dynamic professional theater that illuminates enduring themes while exploring contemporary issues and ideas.
