Boise Contemporary Theater (BCT) announced today the roster of new and returning Members to its Board of Trustees. BCT is about to embark on its 21st Season, and welcomes this highly accomplished, generous and competent group to help advise and guide the company in the 2016|2017 Season.

New BCT Board of Trustee Members are Leah Rourke (Treasurer), an accountant and local business owner; Kelly Barker, a student at BSU and theater artist; Will Fowler, an investment associate; and Lauren Prew, a corporate and finance associate.

Returning Board Members are Adam Park (President); Sandra Andersen (Past President), a community activist; Kristy Weyhrich (Vice President), a graphic designer and local business owner; James Stead (Secretary), a property investor and real estate agent; Terri Dillion, a strategic growth initiatives manager; Pat Madigan, an attorney; Susan May, a community volunteer and human resources consultant; and Karen Peterson, an artist.

The BCT Board of Trustees is responsible for, among other things, guiding the development of BCT while providing strategic direction that informs policy and budget decision-making. Board members serve on at least one of BCT's active committees: Outreach, Finance, Special Events, and Executive. Each member serves at least one three-year term. The staff at BCT is thrilled with and extremely grateful for the Board's ongoing dedication and support to the long- term success of the theater.

"This year's newest additions to the BCT Board of Trustees are stellar," says Managing Director Gabe Gloden, "and are truly representative of the broad reach and appeal of BCT. All of them are big BCT fans and supporters that bring crucial professional experience to the table that will allow us to continue to grow a world-class new works theater here in Boise."

BCT is located at 854 Fulton Street in downtown Boise. More information about the BCT Board of Trustees can be found online at BCTheater.org.
