Helene Peterson has announced her departure as BCT Managing Director effective June 30, 2015. Helene has spent thirteen productive years working to grow the company, more than doubling the budget during her tenure. "Helene's tireless dedication, phenomenal organizational skills and kindness will be missed at BCT. We wish Helene every success in her new endeavors."

BCT is conducting a national search for a new Managing Director, who will, in partnership with Founding Artistic Director, Matthew Cameron Clark, pursue and uphold the BCT mission: to create theater that invites us all to imagine something new. The Managing Director's primary responsibility is fundraising and development from all available sources, including foundations, corporations, government agencies and individuals. Additionally, the Managing Director, in close coordination with the Artistic Director, Finance Director, and BCT Board of Trustees, is responsible for strategic planning and goal setting for administrative departments; developing and managing budgets; and acts as manager for day-to-day operations of the company. As BCT prepares to celebrate it's 20th Season in 2015-2016, the company is in the development stage of a five-year strategic plan that includes expansion of staff, productions and facilities in the heart of Boise's Cultural District.
