Stage Coach Theater has returned to Armadillo Acres Trailer Park, the setting for last summers hilarious musical, The Great American Trailer Park musical, to bring you its sequel, THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL.
Armadillo Acres still has its self-proclaimed white trash characters, Betty, Lin and Pickles. This time around they are joined by some new neighbors all getting ready for Christmas and a competition to be the best decorated trailer park, except one.
Newcomer Darlene, played by Megan Fetters, wants nothing to do with the holiday. In a literally shocking accident, Darlene gets amnesia and becomes someone who loves Christmas. The question is, will he cheery disposition last long enough to get through the contest judging.
Though the original actors did not return from the show last year, Judy Sanders as Betty, Kelliey Chavez as Lin, who also directed both installments, and Kimberly Pappas as Pickles were a hoot!
The two men in the show, Rufus, played by Dugan Jackman, the trailer park handyman, who had a bit of a crush on Darlene and Jackie Boudreaux, who did not live in the trailer park, but employed the ladies at his "breastaurant" was played Ben Clegg. These two gentleman are superb and are characters not to miss.
The fantastic set, fun costumes, and the songs sun by a really talented cast make this a great night out to forget the stress of the holidays.
Adult language and situations.
