It seems like only yesterday that brothers, Jake and Elwood Blues, played by the iconic John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, invited the world to join them in one of best-loved movies of all time-The Blues Brothers.

Now, thirty years later, the Blues Brothers live on in The Official Blues Brothers Revue, the only revue sanctioned by Dan Aykroyd and The Belushi Estate.

The show stars Wayne Catania as Jake and Kieron Lafferty as Elwood and features singers, dancers and the smokin' hot, ten-piece Intercontinental Rhythm & Blues Band. Blues Brothers fans are set to get a nostalgic musical fix when the dynamic pair arrives at the Morrison Center on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 8:00 PM for a spectacular one-of-a-kind performance!

This popular touring production combines the comedy and hit songs from the 1980 hit film, as well as the five popular albums put out by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. It is a faithful recreation of the characters, Jake and Elwood, and a spectacular tribute to Chicago's rich history of blues, R&B and traditional soul music, played with the same soul and conviction of the original Blues Brothers Band.

The Official Blues Brothers Revival ran successfully for five months in Chicago's Centre for the Performing Arts, winning rave reviews.

More recently, Kieron and Wayne joined creative forces with Judy Belushi and Anne Beatts (head writer, Saturday Night Live 1975-80) to write the pilot for a television show based on the continuing adventures of Jake and Elwood, aka The Blues Brothers.

But until this latest venture hits the small screen, the Official Blues Brothers Revue is as close as you are likely to get to Jake and Elwood, and the music and magic of one of the greatest musical partnerships in the history of the silver screen.
