Boise Contemporary Theater's education program, BCT Theater Lab, presents two new plays, US and HAS ANYONE SEEN CRAIG? written and performed by young artists of the Treasure Valley.

US: Young survivors of environmental meltdown, the Hiders and Fighters take refuge from acid rain in mountainous rubble and subway tunnels. Post-apocalyptic city life is rough-but the worst part is each other.

HAS ANYONE SEEN CRAIG?: Mabel leads a sad and lonely life and this morning is the worst of all. But when a gaggle of quirky strangers mistake her house for a coffee shop, she discovers that maybe laughter, and friendship are just one happy accident away.

Written and conceived entirely by Theater Lab students (ages 12-18), these plays rocket past audience expectations, exploring the complexities of human relationships, perception, and trust all in a uniquely fresh, contemporary voice.

You can see both plays on the BCT stage, located at 9th and Fulton in Downtown Boise, May 8, 9 & 10, at 7:00 PM. There is also a matinee at 2pm on Saturday May 10, 2014. Tickets are available online at BCTheater.org or by calling the BCT box office at 331-9224 x 205. Tickets are $10 per person or $5 for students.

BCT Theater Lab provides students, ages twelve to eighteen, an opportunity to train with professional actors, designers and playwrights, in order to develop skills as artists, collaborators and communicators to tell stories that have never been told.

Founded in 1997, BCT creates, produces, and presents vibrant and dynamic professional theater that illuminates enduring themes while exploring contemporary issues and ideas.
