Boise Contemporary Theater begins its beloved and acclaimed Children's Reading Series this Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 2 pm with the classic children's story Bunnicula. As with all CRS readings, free milk and cookies will be available in the lobby!

Bunnicula is the perfect play to jumpstart the Halloween season. Meet a dancing cat, a howling dog, and a vampire bunny. It's the perfect pet combination for any family. Singing and dancing their way through this hilarious mystery, the furry friends of the Monroe house find room in their hearts, and in their home, for one very unique vampire bunny.

The acclaimed Children's Reading Series is a beloved BCT program that presents the best of contemporary children's theater in a creative environment that is accessible to audience members of all ages. Drawing on one of the oldest traditions in theater-"hearing a play"-audience members will experience professional actors bringing engaging stories to life. BCT's Children's Reading Series is directed by BCT Associate Artist and Education Director Dwayne Blackaller.

The CRS lineup this season includes five classic tales perfect for children aged 6 and older and families, and runs through March 2017. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children. CRS Season Passes are $50 for adults and $30 for children, and include all five readings. All readings are at 2 pm unless otherwise noted.

BCT is located at 854 Fulton Street in the heart of Boise's Cultural District. More information and CRS tickets can be found online at BCTheater.org, or by calling the BCT Box Office at 208 331-9224.
