Building on the momentum of its record-breaking 22nd year, Boise Contemporary Theater has announced a new season of five groundbreaking Mainstage shows, along with season ticket packages loaded with opportunities for new and seasoned audiences alike.

Founding Artistic Director Matthew Cameron Clark is enthusiastic this will be the best BCT season yet, and one of the most important. "When I finally settled on the plays for the season, I was struck by the fact that each had the idea of love at their center - whether it's aspirational romantic love, complicated familial love, or the love between friends. During a time of such upheaval in our world it feels right that BCT would be pulled toward stories like these that acknowledge the complexities of contemporary life, while shining a light on openhearted hope. It dawned on me fully when a I read an excerpt from a Tennessee Williams interview in which he said, 'We live in a perpetually burning building, and what we must save from it, all the time, is love.' I read that and then looked back at our season and said, 'That's it.'"

This season might be the last chance to take advantage of the incredibly popular BCT Buddy System. This offer gives patrons who purchase an 18|19 Season Premium, Standard or Student subscription a free identical Buddy package to give to someone who has not yet been a BCT subscriber. The Buddy System allows BCT to give back to its dedicated and growing subscriber base, and to continue to grow the BCT audience of the future.

BCT has moved to a new user-friendly and streamlined online ticketing system this year. It's been a huge undertaking, but Box Office Manager John Adkins has been hard at work to ensure a smooth transition. Arts People, a Portland, Oregon based company, is providing BCT patrons with a new level of control over their theater tickets, including the ability to select seats online.

More information on the BCT 18|19 Season, Ticket Packages, and the BCT Buddy System can be found at BCTheater.org.

Early-bird season ticket prices are available through September 1st, at which time single tickets to all BCT 18|19 shows go on sale. Season Ticket holders who become BCT Members at the $250 level or higher for the 18|19 Season are eligible for priority seating immediately.

18|19 Members at the $50 level or higher will be given priority seating beginning June 1. Non-member Season Ticket holders can begin to choose their seats on September 1 in the order their packages were processed.
