Well, isn't there a pretty quick change during the opening number in LEGALLY BLONDE? There's also the Witch's transformation in INTO THE WOODS.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
Not really, They actually showed that change on the MTV showing if I am thinking of the same thing. But are you talking about the sliding down the pole? Because that is two people I believe.
I meant the one at the store she goes to get a dress. I only saw it on the MTV performance so not sure that they do it in the actual show.

The title of the thread, Drunk Chita Rivera, is "fastest quick changes". As far as I'm concerned, all of these are quick changes. Just because the costumes are layered, doesn't make it any less of a quick change.
"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.
Smokey Joes Cafe has a 9 second quick change going into "They Say The Neon Lights Are Bright"
