Maybe you've been "freaking out", wondering how you are going to get that audition DVD to the Whole Backstage in time for the Take the Stage Talent Competition auditions. Do you have an amazing talent, but no way of recording it? Maybe you almost forgot about the event, and will not have time to get something together?
If that is the case, you are in luck! The Whole Backstage Theatre has decided to extend the audition submission deadline to Saturday May 9, 2009 with two live audition opportunities to be held at the theatre. If creating a DVD of your performance is nearly impossible, the Take the Stage Committee will be holding open live auditions Saturday April 18 and Saturday May 2 from 1-5PM both days. Appointments are not necessary. However, if you would like to participate in the live audition please arrive early and have your material prepared. The 2009 TAKE THE STAGE talent competition will take place in June at the Whole Backstage Theatre, with preliminary rounds on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 4, 5, and 6, with the final competition round on Sunday, June 7.
