This rousing musical theatre hit plays November 26-December 2 at the Whole Backstage Theatre in Guntersville. The show is a warm and colorful journey through the Biblical story of young Joseph, sold into slavery by his brothers after his father favored him with a gorgeous colored cloak.
Complete with a high-energy mix of music and dancing from 60's hippie rock to country western, this show is a favorite with casts and audiences all over the world. The show is family friendly and is hailed for its theme and positive message.
Starring as Joseph is Joe Whitaker, known to Guntersville as the chamber choir director at the Guntersville Church of Christ. Phil Kelley plays Jacob, Tim Hays is Pharaoh and making her WBS debut as the Narrator is Elishaba Larson. Diane Duboise and Dot Moore are co-directors, Will Casey and Tammy Hyatt are the choreographers, and Teresa Hunter is the musical director.
The production plays inside the Dot Moore Auditorium at the Whole Backstage Theatre, 1120 Rayburn Avenue Guntersville, November 28- December 2.
