Birmingham Festival Theatre presents THE COCKTAIL HOUR by A.R. Gurney as part of its 2009-2010 season. THE COCKTAIL HOUR runs October 29 to November 14, 2009.

A son comes home with an announcement: he has written a play - about the family. The self-obsessed family is eager to hear all about it, but as the details emerge, be ready for a heady mix of comedy and dramatic tension.

For only $99 for season tickets, you get 7 tickets to use as you please during the season, plus bonuses, including referential seating throughout the season, advance notice of our upcoming productions in a letter from the director of each show, an invitation to events not open to the general public, and a special permit to park your vehicle behind the courtyard or right across the street when you come to see a performance. It's the best parking in Five Points!

Do a good deed. Ensure that BFT is able to keep producing the theatre you love for both your own enjoyment and that of the rest of the Birmingham's arts community. Like most Arts organizations, BFT depends on the generosity of our community to bring you the quality theatre you expect. BFT receives only approximately 70% of our operating budget from ticket sales. Your support is vital. Make a gift to BFT at one of our suggested giving levels and we will publish your name in every program for the whole season. BFT's 501(c)(3) status means your contribution is 100% tax-deductible.
