Gregg Russell & Barry Youngblood offer Hip Hop, Jazz & Tap Master Classes at Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center August 29-30, 2009

Join us for an exciting weekend with masters of dance Barry Youngblood and Gregg Russell. Dancers will have a chance to learn from these two reknowned choreographers, experiencing both of their own unique teaching styles.

Gregg Russell is an Emmy-nominated choreographer who has worked with such stars as Bette Midler, Gene Kelly, Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, Michael Jackson and The Nicholas Brothers. He has appeared on TV in "Even Stevens," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "The Tonight Show" and in national GAP commercials. He brings to class an eclectic mix of style including hip hop, jazz and lyrical, along with a traditional base reminiscent of Fred Astaire and The Nicholas Brothers. With every class he teaches, his ultimate goal is to inspire tap dancers with humor, laughter and individual expression.

Barry Youngblood is one of the original masters of hip hop. The long list of artists with whom Barry has worked includes Pink, Christina Aguilera, Jordan Knight, Busta Rhymes, P. Diddy and many more. Barry has choreographed industrials for Sega Dreamcast, Nike, Reebok and Sketchers, and his TV credits include the MTV Awards, VH1 Awards, The Today Show, and Regis & Kelley. Additionally, he has performed for the Queen of England with Kid Rock, Ja Rule and J. Lo.

Visit www.merrimackhall.com for full class schedule and to reserve your space in the classes!

Cost: $30 per class, discounts available for purchase of multiple classes.
