Red Mountain Theatre Company, in association with The Birmingham News, is "Searching for Elle's Sorority Sisters" in Legally Blonde which runs from July 12-Aug 5, 2012, according to the RMTC's official website.

RMTC is looking for dynamic triple threats - singers, dancers and actors - with energetic, bubbly personalities to play Elle's Delta Nu sorority sisters in the summer production of Legally Blonde.

A creative video submission, including a performance of an excerpt from "Bend and Snap," are being requested of those who are interested in auditioning to be one of Elle's sorority sisters. In addition to a video submission, those interested in a sorority sister role must also attend the open auditions on January 6, 2012 at 5:00pm at the RMTC Cabaret Theatre. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, January 7.  Materials will be provided for the callbacks.

The role of "Elle" has already been cast, however RMTC is auditioning for all other roles.

In Legally Blonde, sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
