Peter Pan Plays The Whole Backstage Theatre in Guntersville

This fall, the Whole Backstage Theatre is offering its young theatre-going community to a chance to experience a show all its own. PETER PAN, written by J. M. Barrie and adapted by Kathryn Schultz Miller, will bring children of all ages a new and spectacular version of the timeless fairytale. Join Peter and the Darling Children as they travel to the enchanted world of Neverland and encounter stars, mermaids, Indians, lost boys,... pirates, fairies, and a very hungry crocodile. Overflowing with rich dance numbers and catchy music, this retelling of an old favorite is sure to entertain all audiences.

PETER PAN is directed by Kelleybrooke Brown with assistance from Andy Hunter. Along with stage manager Julie Oliver, is a production team of students. They include: Mary Elizabeth Oliver as the Student Director; Noah Spiker and Makenzie Schwieterman as Production Assistants; Hannah Leach, Katie Lindsey, Jared Wright, and Megan Mitchell as Choreographers.

The cast includes actors and actress ages 5-15. PETER PAN show dates are September 10, 11, and 12, 2010 at the Whole Backstage Theatre in Guntersville, AL and September 17 and 18 at the Bevil Center on the Snead State Community College Campus in Boaz, AL with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door the night of the shows.
