Yannis Kotsiras,along with his wonderful musicians, presents a unique musical show, while traveling for the first time in Europe entitled «Greece…On the Road» and presents his own favorite well-known and "unknown" songs, a selection of unforgettable songs of the wider Greek discography as well as some unexpected songs, explosive performances, emotion, improvisation, and above all respect and love for the music, the singing, the audience.

Yannis Kotsiras, with his enviable repertoire, teeters successfully from the classic folk song to modern compositions of the Greek discography, featuring an amazing plasticity in his voice and a unique musical style on stage.

Yannis Kotsiras will interpret his biggest hits such as:Alexandria, Lei, lei, Lei,.. Efta Potiria, To Tsigaro, Efapax, Anathema se, Kane to heimona kalokairi, etc…..He promises to travel us into nostalgic bygone eras, through the melodies ofManos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis and other greatGreek artists, with as final destination a special tribute to the best folk and rembetika songs of Greek discography.

His gifted musicians literally co-star in this musical approach, adding each one his own personal touch it, hisown virtuosity, satisfying the need for expression through the improvisational freedom of expression. Christos Alexakis on keyboards and his brilliant orchestrations, Vangelis Mahairas will play all popular stringed instruments from lute to tzouras and from bouzouki to mandolin, Dimitris Moutafis on bass, Kostas Michalos on guitar Grigoris Syntridis drums and percussion.

It is a unique musical show where the songs give us strength and joy and highlight the interactive communication through music, as a special gateway !

Yannis Kotsiras, will start his Tour in Europe from Brussels on March 20, 2013 at «Cirque Royal» ; next stop will be in Munich on Friday March 22 at «Tonhalle Muenchen», then Stuttgart, Saturday, March 23 at «Filharmonie Filderstadt» and Düsseldorf on Monday, March 25 at «Museum», and other dates in Europe will follow…..
