Jean and Elise are a couple of a certain age. 65 years of life together. In other words, almost a lifelong infinite love. And even if they can no longer live life to the full every day, it's probably because they haven't got the teeth for it any more.
But Elise's memory is full of holes; holes which seem to swallow people, things, words. Ideas are lost, faces fade away and memories melt away and disappear.
The story takes place in a retirement home. How can someone keep track of what is precious when one's other half is not always with it. How to keep contact, keep the essential.
