Guy Cassiers and Dominique Pauwels set off on the quest for a new form of musical theatre: the music and the singing become actors in their own right. They lay bare a dimension that words hide and repress. Through the deep interaction between words, image and song, MCBTH seems to reveal the cruel poetry of this play.
