It's a show in two tables. With two houses and two stories. One takes place in Flanders, the other in Jerusalem. One side hanging old age, waiting, and the death of the other chaos, grief and despair.
In this Diptych, Josse De Pauw Director offers us a Masterful adaptation of weird jumper and women at the Tomb, two stories resembling tragicomiques of the Belgian author Michel de Ghelderode (1898-1962).
This show is based on the original Jan Kuijken music performed by the Symphony Orchestra of Flanders. A world musical film like that immerses us fully in this story outside the norm and tormented.
In the first part the words their way through the music. Force and violence are at the rendezvous. In the second part, on the other hand, the songs are more clear and suspended.
HUIS, a piece which intermingle burlesque, power, fragility and softness.
