Darling at The Brussels City Theatre

Over the last few years the South-African Moya Michael and the White Russian Igor Shyshko have worked with such companies as Rosas and Akram Khan. Shyshko grew up in the wake of the disaster at Chernobyl and Michael in the political upheaval of apartheid. Major influences that leave traces in minor lives. They try to trace their personal histories up to the moment they met.Darling is a confrontation between a macro- and a micro-world, with dance as the means of communication. This collaboration between two very exceptional, strong and emotional dancers produces a poetic performance.
