2013, somewhere in Europe. Bernard Loizeau is the architect and founder of After the Walls Incorporated. For several years now, he has been travelling round the country giving a series of conferences on the relationship of man with his habitat. Through UTOPIA, he gives us his visions of the future: an unprecedented architectural dream, truly a utopian explosion as a solution for the social, demographic and ecological challenges of our times. The spectator is invited into the heart of an approach which is both radical and ambiguous. Lashing out at architects, their ambitions, their blindness and their cynicism, Bernard Loizeau appears as the new messiah, charged with bringing the solution to man's unhappiness. Halfway between a conference and a celebration, UTOPIA is a song of hope addressed to humanity, a unique experience from which nobody comes away unscathed.

A sort of interactive log book on the internet, it recounts in serial form the adventures of Bernard Loizeau and the repercussions of his utopia throughout the world. In this way, month by month, in the context of a non-theatrical work, the spectator in his own home can take part in the dramatic turnaround which structures After the Walls (UTOPIA/DYSTOPIA). Everything is just beginning ...
