Dolores Bouckaert & Bernard Van Eeghem Star in CAST SHADOW, 1/15-1/16

Young actress and dramatist Dolores Bouckaert, known for her roles in Ex-Drummer and Neveneffecten, is a regular guest at Vooruit. In the past she presented work here during 20-something and made Sterven in stijl with Hans Bryssinck while in residence at Vooruit.

She returns to rehearse her newest creation, Cast Shadow, with Bernard Van Eeghem. Van Eeghem, an actor as well as an artist, has a history with several important Flemish theatre companies (Dito'Dito, Dastheater,Victoria). In Cast Shadow Dolores Bouckaert (The Cast) and Bernard Van Eeghem (The Shadow) play doctor: they examine themselves and each other by means of psychoanalysis and hypnosis. They follow each other and eventually try to escape gravity.
