Fiddler On The Roof at Olney Theatre Center - Historic Stage

Winner of nine Tony Awards, Fiddler on the Roof follows the life of Tevye, a poor dairyman in an early-1900s Russian village. Teyve attempts to honor and maintain the Jewish religious customs of his ancestors, but times are changing and his daughters are eager to follow the new ways. When outside forces threaten the village's traditional way of life, Teyve's faith and love for his family give him strength to fight for his home and the traditions of his people.

This heartwarming Damascus Theatre Company production, performed at Olney Theatre Center's Historic Stage, features classic songs including "If I Were a Rich Man," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," "Sunrise, Sunset" and "To Life."
