Bring the whole family to Compass Rose Theater's Student Production of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland," adapted by Charlotte Chorpenning. This whimsical tale takes us back to one of our favorite childhood stories, with a new look at Wonderland where up is down, down is up, and there is no time (even though the White Rabbit is always late). With her perceptive eye, Mrs. Chorpenning has adapted this famous story for audiences of every age. Chasing the White Rabbit, Alice tumbles down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. She meets all its famous residents: the King of Hearts, Red Queen, White Queen, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Gryphon, Mock Turtle, the Dormouse, Mad Hatter and March Hare, the Frog Footman, the Dutchess, the Caterpillar and White Rabbit. It runs weekends, July 19-28, evenings, and matinees.
Compass Rose Theater is at 801 Chase St, Third Floor Annapolis, MD 21401, Annapolis, MD.

Founded in the spring of 2011, Compass Rose Theater is a small non-profit professional theater, which produces productions of the highest caliber. Driven by our passion to produce plays which leave the audience moved, and even transformed by the experience of the show, we hire actors and theater artists who are accomplished professionals to produce plays that range from classic to contemporary. Discovering the truth of each script, and striving to achieve excellence in each production, we hold ourselves to the standards. In April 2013, we relocated from our first home, a renovated storefront, moving to a former rug cleaners, which we rehabbed into a lobby, classroom, and 80 seat theater.
