Some of the most anticipated events at the Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre and Children's Theatre are part of its family breakfast series that all began with the wildly popular Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus). From that holiday breakfast came the yearly Princess Breakfasts where guests are transported to a magical world princes and princesses. The breakfast series is adding a new twist for the fall when Way Off Broadway's first Fairytale Breakfast is held on September 25th and 26th.
While there is always a great deal of attention paid to the princesses, it isn't always just about storybook royalty. There are many other fairytale characters that want to be a part of the fun. So, this fall, it is the furry, feathered characters that take center stage as the Big Bad Wolf, who's gotten a bad rap over the years tells his side of the story. Is he really "big" and "bad" or just misunderstood?
Way Off Broadway's breakfast events are an extension of the theatre's one-of-a-kind Children's Theatre which has been bringing quality family entertainment to Frederick for over a decade. Having produced such shows as Sleeping Beauty, The Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Thumbelina, Rapunzel, and Aladdin, among many others, the Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre has become one of the most popular destinations in the area for birthday parties, school groups, or families looking for a fun weekend activity.
The Fantasy Fairytale Breakfast begins each morning at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $16.00 per person and can be purchased by visiting the theatre or calling the Box Office at (301) 662-6600. Following the Fantasy Fairytale Breakfast for the holiday season is the return of the annual Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus).
