The Dee Buchanan Studio of Dance opened in Middletown, MD in 1992. Over the years, the studio's programs have grown and evolved. In its opening season, the class genres included just ballet, tap, and jazz. Today, dancers ages two through adult can still find classes in ballet, tap and jazz, as well as in lyrical, modern, hip-hop, musical theatre, pointe, acrobatics, and college performance topics. The studio's teaching staff holds teaching certifications through Dance Masters of America and the Cecchetti Council of America. They strive to provide superior training to their students, but more importantly, all the teachers at The Dee Buchanan Studio of Dance want to help dancers find a love of performing, and to find joy and beauty in the art of dance.
