For the last fourteen years, Way Off Broadway has been operating one of the most popular Children's Theatre Summer Camp programs in the area. As more and more young people are becoming interested in performing and learning about live theatre, it has become paramount for parents to find the right theatre education program that fits their child's needs. Beginning on Saturday morning, March 6th, Way Off Broadway will begin its registration for the 2010 Children's Theatre Summer Camp.

This year, Way Off Broadway will again offer Drama and Musical Theatre sessions for various age groups, ranging from 6 - 16.

Those participating in the Drama Camp meet 4 days a week for a three-week session. During that time, classes focus on theatre techniques and acting through specific acting exercises and theatre training games. Improvisation is a great part of these exercises and encourages students to work creatively, individually, and with others. Students will also go through the rehearsal process and take part in a performance at the end of their three-week session.

The Musical Theatre camp will meet 4 days a week for a two-week session and incorporate aspects of musical theatre through vocal music, acting exercises, and basic choreography.

At the end of the two-week session, students will take part in a mini-production.
