Following the record breaking success of Disney's 101 Dalmatians at The Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre, the theatre will next be the home of one of the most memorable tales in storybook history. Continuing the 2011 Season this spring will be the story and adventures of The Three Little Pigs, opening Saturday, April 9th.

In Way Off Broadway's production of The Three Little Pigs, the musical fun unfolds as Homer, Ellie Mae, and Elmer Little-Pig are pursued by the conniving Virginia A. Wolf and her, not-so-bright, sidekick, Frankie. As always, Way Off Broadway puts its own twist into the story. While Virginia Wolf is certainly out to get the little piglets and their homes, it isn't for the reason everyone expects. The shrewd wolf is out to steal the land to build a massive industrial complex. Even in the Land of Fairytales land development is an issue. As always though, it is a classic story with a lot of laughs and some great music.

Playing the parts of the Little-Pigs are Shannon Wells as Ellie Mae, Jordan B. Stocksdale as Elmer, and Bill Kiska as Homer. The villainous Ms. Wolf is played by Erin McNerney, with Jeremy Trammelle playing the part of her assistant, Frankie.

Way Off Broadway's The Three Little Pigs has music by Cathie Porter-Borden and lyrics by Leon Borden. The show was adapted for the stage and is directed by Susan Thornton, with musical direction by Jordan B. Stocksdale.
The show will run from April 9 - June 4, 2011 with performances every Saturday afternoon and the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, as well as select added weekdays.
Since it opened, The Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre is a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination for families looking for a fun weekend activity. It has also become a great spot for birthday parties and school trips.
