The Vagabond Players, 806 S. Broadway in historic Fell's Point, is pleased to announce its 2011-2012 Season. America's oldest continuously existing little theatre, the 2011-12 Season is the Vagabonds' 96th consecutive Season.

The 2011-12 Season, Blockbusters on Broadway, includes:

Wait Until Dark, by Frederick Knott; directed by Allen Herlinger (September 2-26): A cool-as-ice psychopath smoothly talks his way into the home of an unsuspecting blind woman who holds a dangerous prize. He'll stop at nothing to get it. What frightens you more--the evil you can see coming or the one you can't?

Godspell, by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak; directed by Eric Potter (October 14-November 13): This cheerfully irreverent, high-spirited and joyous musical retells the Gospel According to Matthew with rock, pop, folk and Broadway music to celebrate our humanity and love in an energetic theatrical experience for all ages.

Arsenic & Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring; directed by Sherrionne Brown (January 6, 2012-February 7, 2012): Two maiden aunts, three brothers, four cops and thirteen dead bodies all collide in one charming Victorian house in this madcap comedy. Murder was never so much fun!
California Suite, by Neil Simon; directed by John W. Ford (February 24, 2012-March 25, 2012): A British diva up for an Oscar, a hen-pecked hubby with a hooker in his bed, a Manhattan workaholic fighting for child custody, and two couples on the warpath after a disastrous mixed doubles match: these are just some of the hilarious travelers who are in residence in the four playlets that occupy Suite 203.

Frost/Nixon, by Peter Morgan; directed by Steve Goldlkang (April 13, 2012-May 13, 2012): Can playboy talk show host David Frost, with the nation and world glued to their TV sets, be the one to elicit an apology from the President who committed one of the most notorious felonies in American political history? This recent Broadway smash uncovers the truth.

Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins, by Stephen Temperley; directed by Roy Hammond (June 1, 2012-July 1, 2012): Meet the legendary Florence Foster Jenkins and her devoted accompanist Cosme McMoon as they prepare for her wickedly funny recitals at the Ritz Carlton, despite her inability to produce two consecutive notes in tune. She may be tone-deaf, but this comedy is pitch-perfect.
