Tickets are now on sale for H.T. Darling's Incredible Musaeum Presents: The Treasures of New Galapagos, Astonishing Acquisitions from the Perisphere, Submersive Productions' latest immersive theater experience. Performances are March 30 to April 30 at the historic Peale Center in downtown Baltimore.

"The performance and visual art in H.T Darling's Incredible Musaeum weave a tapestry of narratives to be uncovered by museum guests in this fantasy world inspired by 19th Century museums and explorers" said Submersive Co-Artistic Director Glenn Ricci. "Many scenes will play out in plain view, while others will only be seen by small groups or audiences of one. We want to create a world that rewards curiosity and provides many ways to access the museum's stories."

The Musaeum is presenting a grand exhibition of findings by H.T. Darling, a high-society explorer who has just returned from an expedition to an area of outer space, The Perisphere, and a planet he calls New Galapagos. H.T. Darling's Incredible Musaeum immerses the audience inside a Belle Epoque-style cabinet of curiosities brought to life through performance, puppetry, interactive sets, an original soundtrack, multiple story lines, and delights for all the senses.

Created by a team of more than 20 Baltimore artists, the performance and installation will activate all four floors of The Peale Center. (Not coincidentally, The Peale is the first building in the country built to be a museum.) Each of over a dozen rooms will have a unique purpose and story to tell. Much of the focus will be on the second floor Grand Exhibition Hall, where visitors will encounter artifacts and creatures from New Galapagos. Other rooms will recreate environments from above and below the planet's surface.

Demonstrations will be given by Percy (H.T. Darling's right-hand man), two meticulous exhibition curators and Darling himself. Guests will also encounter a perpetually distracted groundskeeper, a gift shop manager, and Darling's most prized find: a humanoid specimen from New Galapagos.

Performances of H.T. Darling's Incredible Musaeum will be at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10-$55, and can be purchased at www.submersiveproductions.com.
