After being nominated for 7 MD Theatre Guide Reader's Choice Awards, The BTCT presents the Tony Award winning musical, Man of La Mancha, on August 21st at 2:00pm, and August 23rd and 24th at 7:00 pm. All performances will take place in the Mintzes Theatre at the H. Morton Rosen Arts Center, located at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School at 3300 Old Court Road in Pikesville, Maryland.

Man of La Mancha tells the story of Miguel de Cervantes who, after being thrown into prison by the Spanish Inquisition, performs his play, Don Quixote, to state his case in a mock trial. Beautiful melodies and a 16th century dungeon provide the backbone for this Tony Award- winning musical. Songs such as "The Impossible Dream" and "I, Don Quixote" have become classics since the show's opening in 1964. Man of La Mancha won five Tony Awards, including best musical and best score.

The show features Baltimore based actors Jim Knost, Kerry Jungwirth, and Carl Oppenheim, featuring rising stars Noah Broth and Josh Schoff. Award-winning director Diane Smith leads the journey, with musical direction by Chris Rose, and choreography by Amanda Dickson. Music by Mitch Leigh with lyrics by Joe Darion and book by Dale Wasserman.

Join us for one of the the most enduring shows in musical theatre history! Man of La Mancha runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

This show is rated PG-13 for mild adult language.
