The Baltimore Playwrights Festival, www.baltplayfest.org continues its 38th Season with our very first self-produced production, the musical Small House No Secrets by Jody Nusholtz (book and lyrics) and Sonia Rutstein (music and lyrics), directed by Miriam Bazensky. Small House No Secrets, will be presented on Fells Point Corner Theatre's second floor Sokal Stage (not handicapped accessible) at 251 South Ann Street, Baltimore, MD 21231. Small House No Secrets will run Thursday March 21 through Sunday, March 31, Th, Fri and Sat at 8 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m. There will be a talk-back after the March 24 th matinee performance. All tickets are $18.00 and can be purchased at www.baltplayfest.org.

Liz is already unraveling when she and her boyfriend Harry arrive at her cousin Eric's for Thanksgiving dinner. Expecting a marriage proposal, Liz enlists Eric's help in deflecting the question, but bigger questions arise when a stranger stopping by turns out to be the lesbian ex-lover Liz wasn't ready for in her freshman year of college.

Jody Nusholtz is a writer and communication arts professor at Carroll Community College. She has published poetry in small literary magazines, and her ten-minute play "Saving Mrs. Goldfarb" was produced as part of Fells Point Corner Theatre's 10X10.
Jody has a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing.

SONiA disappear fear (Sonia Rutstein) is a world class composer and artist. She is the recipient of the Coin of Honor from a joint coalition of United States military for her humanitarian music. She received the GLAMA (Gay and Lesbian Music Awards) for Female Artist of the year and the GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian American Anti-Defamation) Award for Best Album. She received the Spirit of Folk Music Award 2017 by the Folk Alliance International. SONiA's latest double CD LIVE at MAXiMAL received the nomination for Best Live Album by the IMA Independent Music Awards (USA).

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival is in its 38th season and has presented over 260 productions by 165 playwrights at 20 different theaters.
