Theatrical Mining Company Proudly Presents, at the College of Notre Dame, as part of the Baltimore Playwrights Festival: This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things, A New Play by Ken Greller and Directed by Peter Davis.

When you want things a certain way, you don't see things the way they are. This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things is a heightened memory play; a humorous power struggle between two best friends and with their respective lovers. Their individual obsession with desire and control creates unintended consequences that change their relationships forever. Is growing up is worth losing a friend?

The play is 90 minutes with no intermission and contains adult themes, language and situations.

Dates: August 12 - August 29

Performances of This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things are: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 7:00 PM, in the Marian B. Copeland Theatre in LeClerc Hall on the college campus of Notre Dame.The College of Notre Dame is at 4701 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21210.

Admission: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays $10, Thursdays are "Pay what you can"
