The Strand Theater invites you to its first annual Friends and Neighbors Festival with Deborah Blank's new play, The Manipulator. Directed by professional Baltimore director and actor Jerry Gietka, The Manipulator demonstrates the Strand's determination to provide exciting, affordable, and quality theater to the Baltimore community. Artistic Director, Jayme Kilburn is "very excited about this festival. Every new work we present is a new adventure."

Passions alight in Deborah C. Blank's The Manipulator- the story of one "determined" woman who will stop at nothing to get what she wants: marriage. After ending a 10-year affair with a married man, this single mother learns of her former lover's divorce. Scheming and manipulations ensue as the woman plans to eliminate her competition and all other obstacles in her path.
