Strand Theater Company proudly presents the closing show of its 2011-12 season, a 2006 Tony Nominee for Best Play, Well by Lisa Kron. This production marks directorial debut at the Strand of the new Artistic Director, Rain Pryor. It is stage managed by Natlie Riley and features Alexandra Linn as Lisa Kron, Joan Weber as Ann Kron, Donna M Fox as Joy, Dottie, and Herself, Kyla Janise as Lori Jones, Kay, Mrs. Price, Cynthia, and Herself, Michael Alban as Howard Norris, Head Nurse and Himself, Shawn Naar as Jim Richardson, Nurse 2, Little Oscar, Big Oscar, and Himself.

Lisa Kron’s theatrical exploration blurs the lines, going beyond the forth wall and breaking what we perceive to be theatre,” says Pryor. “The piece challenges us as performers and me as the director to think outside the box and confront from within.”

Well is the last show in the final season of the Strand’s Founding Artistic Director Jayme Kilburn.
