Station North kicks off a series of monthly events on Saturday, August 8th. Seven venues - all within 2 blocks of Charles Street and North Avenue - will feature free events throughout the evening! Patrons are encouraged to venue-hop and experience the diversity and creativity of the Station North Arts & Entertainment District. Events include Art Exhibitions, Theatrical Performances, Film Screening, Live Music, and more!

The Strand Theater Company Presents:
Population Six and Moving Walkways! BIG's newest performance troupe, Population: Six, explores the characters of a single improvised small town. Join them in their journey to another land. Moving Walkways joins Pop 6 using audience suggestion to create scenes and characters that remind you that fads may come and go, but your basic needs don't change: You need to be reassured that you're no crazier than anyone else. Following the performance, Population Six and Moving Walkways will engage the audience in an interactive improv JAM.
Performance begins: 7:30PM

The Station North Arts & Entertainment District was established in January 2002 through the combined efforts of community members, the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland. Comprised of three neighborhoods - Greenmount West, Charles North, and part of Barclay - and located near the intersection of Charles Street and North Avenue just north of Amtrak's Penn Station, the 100-acre district serves as a burgeoning cultural district in the heart of Baltimore. Station North Arts & Entertainment, Inc. promotes arts and entertainment activities held within the District.
