A very special Girls Night Out on Thursday April 30, 2009 launches the premiere of Elizabeth Hess's solo trilogy. The opening night audience will receive a 2.5 ounce bottle of Ralph Lauren Notorious, the new fragrance for women.
On Sunday May 3, the "Notorious" brunch benefiting Theatre Project, begins at 12:30 p.m. Elizabeth Hess will be one of the judges of the most notoriously dressed audience members while they feast on a spread laid out by local eatery Soup's On. Prizes to be awarded will include the fragrance Ralph Lauren Notorious. Tickets for the benefit are $40.
Running through Sunday May 10, 2009, the beautiful and multi-talented Elizabeth Hess performs her one-woman plays at Baltimore's Theatre Project: Part 1: BIRTH RITE; sex, drugs & a restless soul, toured New York City, Bath, Barcelona, Berlin and Toronto. Part 2: DESCENT; monsters, madness & martyrdom, played Edinburgh and Yerevan. Part 3: AT/ONE; yin/yang & yoni, has been seen only in New York City. Baltimore's Theatre Project audience will experience the thrill of the premiere of all three.
Baltimore saw Elizabeth for the first time as Essie in Center Stage's production of Ah! Wilderness in 2008. She has played at many regional Equity theatres, including those of the greater Baltimore-Washington region, such as the Wilma in Philadelphia and Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC.
Ms. Hess is also an acting professor at New York University and Fordham University and is planning to teach master classes during her Baltimore engagement. Further information on Elizabeth can be found on her web site: www.elizabethhess.net
Scheduled performances of the individual parts of the trilogy are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. Each play is complete in itself so the trilogy may be entered at any of its individual parts. Elizabeth will give a marathon performance of all three parts on Saturdays. General admission tickets are $20, seniors and artists are $15, and student tickets are $10.
