Company Member and award-winning actor Bruce R. Nelson brings the controversial life of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf to the stage in Doug Wright's 2004 Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play.

Von Mahlsdorf was a real-life transvestite famous for surviving both the Nazi and East German Communist regimes with grace and humor.
