Performance Workshop Theatre presents BREAKING THE CODE by Hugh Whitemore, directed by Marlyn G. Robinson, running September 28 – October 28.
Marc Horwitz stars as the eccentric genius, Alan Turing, the father of modern computing, who cracked the Nazi's unbreakable Enigma code enabling the Allies to win World War II but after the war was put on trial for breaking society's code against homosexuality. A Baltimore premiere, the show is part of the 2012 worldwide Centenary Celebration of Turing's life and work.
Performance Workshop Theatre is located at 5426 Harford Road in Baltimore, Md. The show plays Sept. 28, 29, 30 and Oct. 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings: 8:00 p.m. and Sunday matinees: 3:00 p.m.
